Personally and professionally, a focus on quality comes naturally to Janis Penick. In her relationships with friends and family, business associates and clients she always strives for the very best – and it shows.
A Bastrop County resident for over 36 years, Janis has seen the community grow and prosper. After moving from Austin to a ranch near Smithville, she and her husband Charles, started raising cattle. They still own their ranch today, while also being active members of the ColoVista community. Janis is a great resource for all the area has to offer. Charles served 25 years in the Office of Bastrop County Criminal District Attorney, and Janis was by his side through each campaign. After a lengthy career in management and sales in the business systems industry, where she honed her innate communication and negotiation skills and established exceptional standards of customer service and follow up, Janis chose to focus her talents and abilities on the Bastrop County area as a real estate professional. A third generation REALTOR®, Janis is following in the footsteps of her mother and grandmother.
Janis has been a member of the RE/MAX® team since 2001 and since then has helped hundreds of clients find or sell their new homes, farms or ranch properties. Janis has garnered numerous awards for her work on behalf of her clients. From a seller’s standpoint, her focus is to ensure all her sellers are kept informed on a timely basis on showing activity, buyer feedback and on implementing her proven and comprehensive marketing plan. As a buyer’s agent, her focus on professional representation means taking the time to find a buyer’s specific needs and showing them properties that fit those needs. Over the years Janis has earned the reputation as a highly skilled, diligent professional who is always focused on her client’s best interests.
In recent years, Janis has developed a strong support team to ensure her clients receive the service they have been promised. She takes her role of Team Leader as seriously as all of her other endeavors, generously offering her knowledge, her time and her energy to the members of her team to empower them to offer the highest quality service to all our clients. Janis enjoys golfing, cooking, swimming and nurturing her lifelong friendships. Charles and Janis enjoy travelling to Hawaii each year to spend quality time together.
Deeply caring about everything she does, Janis' willingness to go way beyond the call of duty on her clients' behalf has a great deal to do with her success. Her commitment to excellence is unwavering. Her devotion to providing you with the highest quality of service is without compare. If you are thinking of buying or selling a property in the Bastrop County area, contact Janis Penick and her team For A Quality Move.
