Food, fireworks and fun are just the start of what you will find at the Bastrop Patriotic Festival. Friday evening’s events will include a domino’s tournament, 1K and 5K followed by a street dance.

Saturday’s events start early with a pet parade followed by a wide variety of events including a petting zoo of exotic animals, water wonderland, sand volleyball, free airboat rides, games and crafts, a car show, washer tournament, sack races and live piano music. In the afternoon, there will also be hot pepper, pie, hot dog and ice cream eating contests. Finish the night with a patriotic display of fireworks that you won’t forget.
