Bastrop We hope your weekend is full of free time because Saturday, July 27 offers three great opportunities for fun in the area.

Start with the Mad Hatter Tea Party at The Capital of Texas Zoo. The event at the Cedar Creek zoo will run from 1:00-4:00 and is packed with fun activities for you to enjoy. Alice and all of her friends will be there for photo opportunities plus take part in a game of croquet, scavenger hunt, painting the roses red, a tea party with musical chairs and refreshments. Since you are at the zoo, don’t forget to visit with the animals too. Proceeds from this fun event benefit the Zoo’s Beautification Program.

Corvette InvasionThe 7th annual Corvette Invasion will ride into the Bastrop Convention and Exhibit Center this weekend for lots of fun for Corvette lovers all over. The event will take place Friday, July 19-Sunday, July 21 and include a vendor fair, live music, a meet and greet, car show, parade and more.
