Food, fireworks and more fun than you can imagine will make up the Bastrop Patriotic Festival on Saturday, June 29th. Start the day with 1K fun run or Red, White and Blue 5K. Other events will kick off beginning at 9:00 a.m. and the day is packed with activities.
Just a few of the activities you can choose to enjoy are Kiddie Train Rides, a Colorado River Alliance Mobile River Exhibit, sand volleyball, knockerball and water wonderland. Water Wonderland will sell wristbands for all day access to multiple water slides. The afternoon will start the food eating contests including pie, hot peppers, frozen yogurt and hot dogs. That’s not all. The day will conclude with live music and a patriotic fireworks display scheduled to begin at 9:15.
