Lost Pines Art CenterThe Lost Pines Art Center is hosting their annual Square Show through the end of February. This show includes smaller, affordable pieces from a wide variety of local and regional artists. These pieces are perfect for small spaces or collectively for a gallery look and could make great gifts as well.  

If you have never attended the Square Show, this is a fun exhibit to enjoy without being overwhelmed. The smaller pieces are a great way to begin a modest art collection without making a large commitment.

The GrinchWith just a week left before Christmas, Bastrop has a few final activities for you to enjoy. Some celebrate the holidays and others provide you a recreational activity for some fun. Here are a few activities you you might want to try this weekend.

The Bastrop River of Lights will run nightly through January 1. Enjoy a stroll through half a mile of light displays to get in the holiday spirit.

Elf the Musical will be performed at Bastrop Opera House for a few more performances through the 20th. The final live stream performance is on December 19. Nothing says Christmas better than Buddy the Elf.

The Honor Choir will perform at Bastrop Christian Outreach Center on December 20th. Enjoy a selection of holiday music performed by local youth.
