Grab your sunglasses, bathing suit and your friends and head out to Elgin Memorial Park on Saturday, July 15 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for the Elgin Beach Party. There is lots of summer fun planned including contests, food and more.

The 48th Annual Elgin Rodeo will take place Friday and Saturday evenings beginning at 8 p.m. each night. Each evening will include lots of fun events including broncs, roping, doggin, barrels and bulls. There will also be mutton busting, a calf scramble for youth and drills performed by the Lee County Texas Stars 4H Drill Team.

Admission is $10 for those 13 and over but discounts are provided for military and law enforcement as well as children 5-12. Children 4 and under will be admitted for free.
