StorageDepending on the size of your Bastrop home, you may feel like you will never have enough storage space. This is an extremely common complaint when you are looking at houses but there are many things you can do to maximize the storage space you have. Where should you start?

  • Under the bed storage is essential. While this may not be where you want to store the things you use every day, this is a perfect place for clothes that are out of season and other things that you don’t need as often. There are

HolidaysIf you are one of the few brave individuals trying to sell your Bastrop home during the holiday season, it can be challenging to find a balance between your holiday decorations and a beautifully staged home that buyers will love. Don’t take this as a deterrent from selling your home this time of year. It really can be a great time for your home to get more attention when there are frequently fewer homes on the market and the buyers that are looking are often more serious. With a little sacrifice on your side (depending on your usual decorating style), you can still have a festive home for the holidays while trying to sell your home. Where should you start?

Selling your homeWhen you decide you are ready to sell your home, you likely put much thought into it before you came to that conclusion. While your list of reasons to sell are probably plentiful, the process of selling your home can be an emotional one, especially if you have lived in your house for a number of years. Though this is often a difficult task for many sellers, it is important to try and disconnect your emotions when getting ready to sell your home. When you attach too many emotions to your home, you may find it impossible to picture anyone else living in your home and have a hard time allowing yourself to move on.
