Eco Fest 2019Eco Fest 2019 will take place on Saturday, February 9th beginning at 10:00 a.m. The educational event will provide lots of information on a wide variety of topics including alternative energy, recycling, sustainable living as well as eco-friendly building practices.

Exhibitors and vendors will be setup from 10:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. A Run for the Rest of Us Half K begins at 10 from the Gazebo. A bike repair and maintenance workshop also begins at 10:00. There will also be musical performances at different times and recognition of the junior high artists that won the Endangered Species and Habitats art contest at noon with a reception immediately following the recognition.

Bastrop State ParkSpend your Saturday at Bastrop State Park for some fun outdoor activities that you will enjoy. Start with a guided hike from 11:00-12:30. You will hike one mile while learning about the park including the special pine trees that are found in the park and the impact the 2011 fire had on the park.
