Airing of the Quilts The Town of Smithville will host two fun events on Saturday, November 9. Beginning at 10:00 in the morning, the annual Airing of the Quilts will take place throughout Smithville. Both modern and traditional quilts will be displayed outside of shops and homes for all to see. There will be quilting events at two Smithville churches as well. First United Methodist Church will host an indoor quilt airing along with a fall festival that will include children’s activities, a craft fair and a chili and ribs cookoff.
