Red, White & You – Dancing through the Decades, Bastrop, TX

In its second year, Red, White & You – Dancing through the Decades will be held on Saturday July, 6. The event will feature the Tony Harrison Band playing “Big Band” music for you to dance to all night long. Bring your partner or a whole grab for a night of dancing, music and lots of fun at this USO themed event.

Do you need to brush up on your dance moves? Arrive by 6:15 for dance lessons to help get you in the groove. The doors to the event will open at 5:00 p.m. prior to the lesson and the band will perform from 7:00-10:00 p.m. Dress in period attire and participate in the vintage dress contest. There will be food and drinks available for purchase. Tickets are available for advance purchase online for $20 and at the door for $25. If you plan to purchase at the event, bring cash for your tickets.

In addition to the dancing, there will be antique cars and “cigar girls” at the events for photos ops plus a special historic exhibit by Texas Heroes Museum.
