With just a week left before Christmas, Bastrop has a few final activities for you to enjoy. Some celebrate the holidays and others provide you a recreational activity for some fun. Here are a few activities you you might want to try this weekend.
The Bastrop River of Lights will run nightly through January 1. Enjoy a stroll through half a mile of light displays to get in the holiday spirit.
Elf the Musical will be performed at Bastrop Opera House for a few more performances through the 20th. The final live stream performance is on December 19. Nothing says Christmas better than Buddy the Elf.
The Honor Choir will perform at Bastrop Christian Outreach Center on December 20th. Enjoy a selection of holiday music performed by local youth.
Enjoy Nature Days on Friday, December 18th at McKinney Roughs Nature Park. Learn about mammal tracking and view live reptiles as you learn to appreciate the outdoors.
The 43rd annual Waterloo Disc Golf Classic will take place on Friday, December 18th at Moody’s Disc Golf Ranch. This event raises money for the Ronald McDonald House.
A Joyous Christmas is a community Christmas concert featuring a 50 voice community choir. This performance will take place On December 17 and 18.
Take in The Grinch at Riverbend Park on Saturday, December 19th at 6:00. Admission is free.
