There are some exciting cultural and facelifting changes happening in Bastrop.
The Bastrop Fine Arts Guild is kicking off a capital campaign to build the Lost Pines Art Center which will transform the former Powell Cotton Seed Mill into a prominent Chestnut Street addition. The center will include galleries, artist and demonstration studios, a garden for sculpture and an artist in-residence program.
